This was a perfectly executed <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/blog\/browse-abandonment-email-types\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cart abandonment email<\/a>\u2014<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">about 12 hours after I abandoned, I received this email. Plus, the discount code (combined with the sense of urgency that came with the email copy) helped moved me down the funnel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In terms of design, it was on trend with what we&#8217;ve been seeing across email design, utilizing a <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/blog\/email-design-trends-what-we-are-expecting-in-2021\/#layouts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">compartmentalized layout<\/a> to help divide the email into outlined sections. One of the benefits of this type of design is it helps create visual distinction from one <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/blog\/email-cta-copy-tips\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">call-to-action (CTA)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the next. Also, subtle animations can go a long way.
