What a fun way to gamify and drive me back to the app!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"RGE\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Really Good Emails<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Subject line:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These things really push my buttons<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"image-scroll mb-3\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1j.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Kimberly Huang (Content Marketing Manager, Litmus) says<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>:<\/strong> I&#8217;ve been a fan of <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/reallygoodemails.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Really Good Emails&#8217;<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> newsletter for quite some time, but this edition has become one of my favorites. They&#8217;ve taken the concept of <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/resources\/guide-to-ctas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CTA buttons<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which might seem ordinary, and turned it into an engaging and educational piece. The imagery is funny (thus engaging), and the <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/blog\/foundations-of-email-copywriting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">body copy<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> strikes a balance between being informative and easily scannable\u2014which I appreciate!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"lottieflies\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LottieFiles<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Subject line:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Figma to Lottie just got a lot more cooler! \u2728<br \/>\n<\/span><strong>Preview text:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Create animations with all-new support features.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"image-scroll mb-3\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/2j.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Hannah Tiner (Marketing UX Designer, Litmus) says:<\/strong> <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/lottiefiles.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LottieFiles&#8217;<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> fun brand style is reflected so well in their emails. I also appreciate that they&#8217;re spotlighting new integration updates by leading with the integration (Figma) first, to grab the attention of users who work in Figma, rather than giving their own brand the spotlight.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"NPR\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NPR<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Subject line:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biden to announce historic monument designation for Grand Canyon; what Japan could teach the U.S. about healthy living<br \/>\n<\/span><strong>Preview text:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plus, a new true crime podcast takes Pakistan by storm.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"image-scroll mb-3\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/3j-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Hannah says<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>:<\/strong> I&#8217;m a big fan of <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NPR&#8217;s<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> emails, but this edition of <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/upfirst\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Up First<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> takes the cake. The introduction text at the top does a great job of humanizing the email and I appreciate the creative uses of emoji <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/blog\/the-ultimate-guide-to-bulleted-lists-in-html-email\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bullet points<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. My favorite section is always the &#8220;3 things to know before you go&#8221; at the bottom, this time featuring &#8220;Hank&#8221; the bear that broke into 21 homes. NPR really knows what I want to see.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"urbanstems\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UrbanStems<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Subject line:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mercury is up to something<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"image-scroll mb-3\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/4j.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Abigail Sims (Senior Content Marketing Manager, Litmus)<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>:<\/strong> I&#8217;m a sucker for a little wordplay! The <\/span><a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.litmus.com\/blog\/how-to-write-the-perfect-subject-line-infographic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">subject line<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is cute, and not too heavy-handed with the Mercury retrograde reference, and the body of the email continues along the same lines, encouraging the reader to &#8220;blame all their problems&#8221; on retrograde&#8230; which is coincidentally the name of one of their available bouquets.
